COACHES´ REACTIONS

Lubomir Liska (SVK): „We knew we were facing a slightly weaker opponent and that we had a chance to beat them by a larger margin. Many things went our way, we hit the target. Maybe in the first two games, where we had some bad luck, we could have scored more goals, not just one or two, but this time everything worked out. We are glad that we didn't just stand around and that the boys got properly motivated, and even those who hadn't scored yet managed to score and got the right momentum, because one of the toughest games is still ahead of us this evening.“

Callum West (GBR): “It was a tough game as you can tell by the scoreline, it was always going to be tough playing Slovakia. We didn’t start how we wanted to, but as the game grew, I think we got into it. We started to do more and more what we wanted to. I’m not particularly happy with the way the Slovak team played and went on sometimes, but that’s what they do all the time. I’m still proud of my team and all the players for sticking in until the end.”
