COACHES´ REACTIONS
Jakub Kotek (CZE): "In the first period, we didn't play exactly as we wanted, as we were adjusting to both the surface and the opponent. From the second period onwards, we played much better, we were clearly better, but unfortunately, we didn't score any goals and were significantly less effective than our opponent. In the third period, despite territorial advantage, we couldn't score a goal, and the Slovaks deservedly won as they were more effective. We need to talk before the second game, change our play, and we hope to win it.“
Adam Krivda (SVK): “We hoped for a better performance from our team, but Czechs were more physical than us. But I have to thank my guys for fighting spirit and we are pleased with the win. We had a big help in goal in Cisko and we learned that world ballhockey is more faster and evolved than in our league.“
