Canadian favorites won big against Team GB

The Canadian U18 team confirmed the expectations as they had no trouble defeating Great Britain 14-0. Canada uncorked the game with a strike just 7 seconds after the opening face-off and built on it by scoring another six goals before the first intermission. The North Americans added six more in the middle period with Jaden Bulmer completing a hat-trick and sailed smoothly to a decisive win.

COACHES´ REACTIONS

Jon Silcox (CAN): "It was a good game, better than morning game.I know that they have a young program and they are coming along and they are improving every day. I have a ton of respect for the Great Britain program, the coaching staff, the volunteers, the parents, the managers, players. Especially to make this trip every year and i want to see game go. I love seeing them all here We have nothing but respect for them. I am proud of my boys today but we know we´ve got a long term in the head but i give hats off to the fans good job for the Great Britain program.

Callum West (GBR): “It was a tough game, I mean we were playing Canada, which is top team in the world and it was too much for us today. All we wanted was to give everything we got and the scoreline does not matter as long as we get everthing. We’ve got a bit of a lesson today and we have to take experience from that. But we appreciate Canadians, they were very respectful in their victory and I thank them for a good game. I would also like to thank our fans who were amazing as always.“
